 💕INTRODUCTION TO BACKGROUND OF CHRISTIANITY💕

 Blessed Kingdom Associates @ ZION: It hurts the ego of man to discover that he desperately needs an intermediary between him & Almighty God. Yes! In the Garden of Eden, God came to men direct. But we are a far cry from Eden @ this our contemporary World. The Almighty God had used the flood to judge the wicked world (Gen. 6: 17). Even after the flood, mankind continued by & large to reject God & to cause God to be distant from us.

Even in Israel, God's chosen nation, it got so bad that in order to find God one should seek Him energetically with all one had got (Deuteronomy. 4: 29). The summary of it all was that the consciousness of man was generally & steadily drifting from the awareness of the presence of God.

In the very beginning, man knew God directly but rejected God. Later, it got to a stage where man knew God only faintly & had to augment with visions & dreams. Finally, it got so bad, the drifting from God got so bad that the ordinary individual in society could not boast of locating the awareness of God in his or her consciousness. The materialization of human consciousness was reaching the depth of carnal fixation. That was when the sacred prescription of Deuteronomy 4: 29 was made & that to even a chosen race of God.

Millions searched for God in stones, in cliffs, in mountains, on sea-shores & in diverse manifestations of nature. Millions looked for God where God was not. Millions worshipped inanimate objects in desperation for the real God Almighty. This was the situation depicted by Apostle Paul in Romans 1: 21-24. Not that the awareness of God was totally extinct on earth. There were individuals who knew God. There were occasional Prophets & genuine Seers. There was the race of Israel among whom the knowledge of God was formally & officially kept alive, albeit tainted with the superstitious & idiosyncracies of the elders. But even then, not every individual could boast of a personal knowledge, of a personal itemization of the awareness of God in his or her waking consciousness. 

Every other person tended to know God by rumours, by hearsay & not by personal relationship with God.

It got so bad that astrologers, necromancers, witches, monthly prognosticators, soothsayers & all kinds of prophesying charlantans took over the control of human consciousness (Isaiah 48: 13).

THE PROMISE OF A MESSIAH: 

Then the Almighty God in His eternal Kindness made a promise to Israel & to all mankind, the Gentile nations: "He shall bring forth judgement (true religious-mispath, the right conduct before God & with God) to the Gentiles" (Isaiah 42: 1). "I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles after raising up the fallen tribes of Jacob & restoring the preserved of Israel".

Of course there are many references & prophecies about Lord Jesus Christ as De Messiah in the Holy Scriptures, as you will find out as you go along in this Theological Tutorial Discourse. At this early stage of this  sacred discourse, it is not profitable to plunge you into heavy Theology about the messianic hopes of Israel or the Christology of God. It is better to advance in knowledge gradually. But you need to know clearly how Jesus Christ De Messiah Yahshua is the Saviour so that you can benefit immediately & persistently from that knowledge.

THE PIONEER OF CHRISTIAN FAITH - CHRIST DE MESSIAH, THE SAVIOUR OF MANKIND 

Whilst a Pioneer is a founder, a Saviour, ordinarily, means somebody who saves another person from a calamity. God Almighty Himself bore the Title of Saviour in Israel before His Son was made manifest in the flesh.That was because God won their battles for them. Israel had recourse to Him in natural calamities & He was the sure HELP. Other tribes who had lost knowledge of the true God had their own saviours in the form of great warriors, great medicinemen or mystics who performed some wonderful feasts to avert calamity for the tribe.

Now when we talk of Lord Jesus Christ De Messiah Yahshua as the Saviour of the World, we are talking on a higher plane. We have gone beyond the mundane issues of tribal war & war heroes. We are talking of One Who can speedily help man back, help individual man back into personal awareness of God Almighty in his waking consciousness. We are talking of One Who has Power to save, actually save individual man from the Wrath of God that is coming & is hanging on the World. In fact, we are talking of the One Whom God gave authority to forgive sins in the World.

I am, of course, introducing you to the one & one who came to the world as a man, did not sin, pleased God & by exercise of Faith & Obedience to God raised His own dead body to life thereby defeating death by Holiness, defeating Sin by Righteousness. He lived the perfect & acceptable life before God. This is the Author & Finisher of our Christian Faith. He was to become the Pioneer of the Christian Religion otherwise called CHRISTIANITY.

God installed Him & Him only as Lord & Christ De Messiah (Acts 2: 36; 4: 12). Lord Jesus Christ De Messiah Yahshua is Saviour, not only by reason of having succeeded where others failed, not only by reason of having lived an examplary life, but because He has been installed by God Almighty as Head of the Household of Grace with limitless Power to forgive, heal, strengthen, redeem, uplift, encourage & bless all who seek God through Him.

Of course, no other being or dignity in the universe is so empowered or is so installed by God Almighty. Lord Jesus Christ De Messiah Yahshua is therefore The Saviour of the World in many more senses than one. Further on in this sacred Course of Spiritual Training, you will observe the Power & Significance of the Holy Name Of Lord Christ De Messiah, how it is greater than all human names.

Meanwhile, I want to draw your attention to one great INVITATION, which the Lord Christ De Messiah issued about two thousand years ago. It is recorded in St. Matthew's Gospel, namely, Matt. 11: 28 in these words: "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest".

O Blessed Kingdom Brethren @ ZION: You can take advantage of this standing INVITATION - unburden yourself before the Blessed Lord, CHRIST De MESSIAH.
